Next Sunday (4), some streets in Cotia will have altered vehicle flow or will be closed at the request of the Electoral Court due to the holding of the elections.
On Rua Jorge Caixe, where the Electoral Registry Office operates, one lane will be closed in the stretch between number 306 and the intersection with Rua Guiné. During the closure period, the detour will be made via Rua Idomineu Antunes Caldeira. Rua Alga Marinha will be one-way, only for those going down.
The Department of Transport and Mobility does not rule out the possibility of a total closure of Rua Jorge Caixe, if requested by the electoral judge.
On Avenida Professor Joaquim Barreto, where an Electoral Court post also operates, only one lane will remain available for vehicle traffic.
Also in the Atalaia region, Rua Ipiranga will be one-way during the period. The same change will be adopted on Rua Dolores Duran, in Mirante da Mata.
In Jardim Mirizola, Rua Vicente Strifezzi will be closed.
The changes will be made to ensure the organization and safety of traffic during the voting period.
